The two neighboring doggos in the story could not stand being separated by a fence between their houses. Their sad faces underneath the fence made their hoomans decide that something had to be done–they had to find a way to bring their doggos together.
This led their hoomans to make a gate through their fences, that ensured their fluffy kids could always visit each other. And boy oh boy did the delightful doggos love that idea.
